The Manager of Corporate Administration is a key organizational leadership position responsible for supporting the President & CEO and EVP/COO through strategic coordination, enterprise project management, corporate governance, executive action and administrative execution.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Organizational Execution
• Coordinate, monitor, and report on progress against One Detroit Credit Union’s organizational strategic plan.
• Maintain strategic milestones, deliverables, responsible parties, deadlines and executive level reporting.
Enterprise Project Management & Implementation
• Serve as primary project manager for designated organizational implementations and cross functional initiatives.
• Establish project scope, timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, expectations, risks, and measures of success.
Executive Coordination, Action & Special Projects
• Provide strategic and execution support to the President & CEO and EVP/COO.
• Conduct research, gather information, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Coordinate and strategically manage executive calendars, meetings, engagements, and organizational commitments to support alignment with established priorities.
Board of Director Governance & Corporate Administration
• Coordinate Board and committee meetings, calendars, materials, reports, resolutions, governance records, and required follow up. • Maintain required corporate records and coordinate organizational filings, registrations, renewals, and other corporate requirements.
Grants, Reporting & Administrative Management
• Coordinate grant opportunities, applications, reporting requirements, deadlines, deliverable, and organizational impact reporting.
• Maintain organized records, calendars, and documentation for assigned corporate responsibilities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, organizational leadership, project management, public administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of project management and leadership experience.
• Minimum five years of financial services experience, credit union experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, written and verbal communication skills, organization, problem solving and follow-through. Demonstrated presentation and public speaking experience.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, coordinate across departments, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with executive leadership and board of directors.
